💗 Stouffville Valentine’s Market – Feb 14 | 9AM–2PM 💗

What a beautiful Valentine’s Day spent at the Stouffville Market! From 9–2pm, our booth was filled with love, colour, and so many amazing conversations. 💕

We showcased our handmade scrunchies in a variety of luxe fabrics and vibrant prints — each one thoughtfully crafted with care. It was so special seeing everyone pick out pieces for themselves, their daughters, friends, and loved ones.

To make the day even sweeter, we hosted a Free Scrunchie Contest, and the excitement was everything! Thank you to everyone who entered and stopped by to support small business.

Stouffville, you truly made our Valentine’s market unforgettable. Your kindness and encouragement mean the world. 💖

On January 10, 2026, I had the pleasure of participating in the Stouffville Market for the very first time, working closely alongside Susan to coordinate a wonderful day.

It was such a joy to meet the local residents of Stouffville and connect with other vendors who have been part of this market for years. The warm, welcoming atmosphere made my first experience here truly special, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to be part of such a vibrant community.

Collaborating with Susan and sharing this market with longtime vendors and new friends alike made the day memorable, and I look forward to returning in the future.

On December 20, I had the joy of participating in the Second Annual Holly Jolly Christmas Market at Brooklin Community Centre, working alongside Sarah Roberts, founder of Dragonfly Vendors by Sarah.

The festive atmosphere was full of holiday cheer, laughter, and the energy of fellow vendors and visitors alike. Being part of this well-organized and vibrant market made the experience truly special, and it was wonderful to celebrate the season while sharing my creations with the community.

Collaborating with Sarah and seeing the market come to life reminded me of the power of community, creativity, and festive spirit. This second annual event will always hold a warm place in my heart.

On November 14, I had the honour of taking part in a fundraiser in support of Willows Walk Public School, helping the School Community Council (SCC) team raise important funds.

This experience was especially meaningful thanks to the opportunity to collaborate with Ms. Makris and Swapna Nair, Chair of the SCC, whose dedication and support made organizing this fundraiser both smooth and rewarding. Being able to come together for a shared cause created a warm, positive atmosphere and a strong sense of community.

Supporting the school and contributing to the SCC’s efforts was a truly fulfilling experience, and I’m grateful to have been part of an initiative that makes a difference for students and families.

On November 22, 2025, I had the privilege of bringing a market-style experience to Thorntonview Long Term Care, creating a meaningful and joyful day for the residents.

It was truly special to meet the residents, share conversations, smiles, and moments of connection while bringing a market directly to them. The atmosphere was filled with warmth, laughter, and appreciation, making the experience just as meaningful for me as it was for those attending.

Being able to brighten their day and create a wonderful, inclusive experience reminded me why community-centered events are so important. This day at Thorntonview Long Term Care will always hold a special place in my heart.

Joining Asia in the Heart of Toronto was a truly wonderful experience, made even more special with Drip Market bringing together such a vibrant community.

It was an absolute pleasure to be surrounded by so many talented vendors, each bringing their own creativity and passion to the market. The energy, diversity, and sense of connection throughout the event made it an inspiring environment to be a part of.

Being part of this market was not only an opportunity to showcase my work, but also to connect, learn, and celebrate alongside other amazing vendors in the heart of Toronto.

The market at Sargent Dairy Farm was an especially meaningful experience, made even more memorable by having my son, Urmi, join me for the day.

I had the pleasure of providing scrunchies at this wonderful market, surrounded by a welcoming community of vendors and visitors. Sharing this experience with Urmi made it truly special — he had an amazing time socializing with other vendors, enjoying the lively atmosphere, and bouncing with excitement on the jumping castle.

His absolute favorite moment was sitting in the tractor, the centerpiece of the market, which brought him so much joy and laughter. Watching him experience the market through curious, happy eyes turned an already beautiful day into an unforgettable family memory.

September 27 marked my second vendor market experience at Oktoberfest, proudly run by Sarah Roberts, founder of Dragonfly Vendors by Sarah.

After my first market, returning for a second event felt more confident, energized, and inspiring. Having my marketing team — Deshawn and Diviya — by my side made all the difference. Their creativity, support, and on-the-ground promotion helped bring the brand to life and connect with so many new customers throughout the day.

I’m incredibly grateful for the teamwork, collaboration, and growth that came with this experience. Oktoberfest on September 27 was not just another market — it was a reminder of how far we’ve come and the importance of building something together, one event at a time.

August 16 marked a very special milestone for me — my first-ever market event at Sunshine & Stalls, hosted by Sarah Robert, the founder of Dragonfly Vendors by Sarah.

Stepping into the world of vendor markets was both exciting and a little nerve-wracking, but the experience turned out to be incredibly rewarding. I’m so grateful I took that leap. The atmosphere was welcoming, the organization was seamless, and the support from both fellow vendors and visitors made the day unforgettable.

A heartfelt thank you to Debbikka from the administration team at CertifiedScrunchie Inc, whose support, dedication, and behind-the-scenes help played a huge role in making the day run smoothly. Having that level of support meant more than words can express.

A huge thank you as well to Sarah Robert and Dragonfly Vendors by Sarah for creating such a positive, well-run event and for giving small businesses like mine the opportunity to grow, connect, and shine. This first market experience at Sunshine & Stalls will always hold a special place in my journey.
