Introducing Certified Scrunchie Inc's Reading & Writing Program for Kids!

🌟 Exciting News from Certified Scrunchie Inc. 🌟

We are so excited to share something very close to our hearts — a brand new chapter for Certified Scrunchie Inc.
Since April 2026, we have been proudly running a Reading & Writing Program for children from Kindergarten through Grade 8 within the Whitby community. Whether your child is just beginning to sound out words or is ready to build strong storytelling and writing skills, we are here to support their learning journey.

📍 Where & When
Our sessions are offered both in-person and online to make learning accessible for every family.

In-Person Locations:
• Public Library
• Local Community Centres

Online Sessions Available for Families Learning from Home | Schedule is more flexible with online sessions

📖 What We Offer
Reading Classes — $20/hour
Helping children build confidence, fluency, comprehension, and a love for reading.

✏️ Writing Classes — $30/hour
Supporting creativity, grammar, sentence structure, and storytelling skills.

💛 Why We Started This Program

After the COVID-19 pandemic, many children experienced interruptions in their learning, especially in reading, writing, communication, and overall academic confidence. We saw firsthand how difficult it became for many students to catch up after months of disrupted schooling and online learning challenges.

At Certified Scrunchie Inc., we wanted to be part of the solution. Beyond creativity and handmade products, we strongly believe in supporting children, education, and the future of our community. This program was created to provide students with encouragement, guidance, and a safe space to rebuild their confidence and strengthen their literacy skills at their own pace.

Watching children grow in confidence, improve their reading and writing abilities, and begin enjoying learning again has been incredibly meaningful to us, and we are grateful to continue serving families in our community.
